Individual site editors are responsible for ensuring that content is compliant, which includes but is not limited to the following:

- Images have descriptive alt tags
- Don’t forgot to check your banner’s alt text
- Hyperlinks have descriptive wording
- Avoid using “click here” and “read more”
- Link text should make sense out of context
- Tables are formatted properly with column/row headings
- Transcripts accompany video and audio files
- Graphics have proper color contrast
- Don’t underline words since this indicates a hyperlink
