WELCOME TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH FLORIDA!
The ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ enforces parking regulations to accommodate the parking needs of our students, faculty, staff, vendors, and campus guests.
Visitor Parking on Campus
- During enforcement hours (Monday to Thursday 7 AM to 6 PM and Friday 7 AM to 5 PM), most campus visitors will need a Daily Visitor Parking Pass. These passes are $5 for blue lot parking or $2 for gray lot parking.
- Once you have obtained your visitor pass, please park your vehicle forward-facing. The license plate must be visible from the drive aisle for UNF to verify your pass.
- A Daily Visitor Pass can be purchased through online. Visit AIMS Mobile Pay for additional information.
- Daily Visitor passes are priced at flat rates. Your pass will expire at the end of the day purchased.
- Once you have purchased a daily visitor pass, it is non-refundable.
Event Parking
- Guests attending an event at the Herbert University Center will not need to purchase a visitor pass. Parking in Lot 16 at the University Center is included with event admission.
- If you’ve been invited to a campus event, your event organizer may share specific parking instructions. Please reference those for event parking. More information is located on the Special Event Parking page.
Visitor Parking FAQs
-
What are UNF's parking enforcement hours?
- All parking regulations and permit zones are strictly enforced Monday – Thursday from 7 AM to 6 PM and Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM.
- After hours and on weekends, campus visitors do not need to purchase a pass to park in visitor areas. Event guests may be given specific parking or validation instructions.
- Please note that the UNF Police Department will cite 24/7 for Reserved space violations and state of Florida parking violations (including but not limited to parking in fire lanes, ADA/disabled space violations, and obstructing traffic).
-
Do I need to display a paper receipt or documentation?
No. UNF uses a virtual, pay-by-plate system. When you purchase a daily visitor pass, you will enter your vehicle’s license plate. The enforcement team will read your license plate and verify that a virtual pass was purchased. -
I entered the wrong license plate on my Daily Visitor Pass. What should I do to fix this?
Once the pass has been purchased, you will not be able to change the plate yourself. Please contact UNF Parking Services for assistance at (904) 620-2815. Please do not make a duplicate purchase for the same vehicle. -
Where can I park with a daily visitor pass?
- Visitors with a $5 Blue Daily Pass may park in any blue permit or gray permit areas on campus. There are options for surface lot parking or upper levels of campus garages as marked.
- Visitors with a $2 Gray Daily Pass may park only in campus gray permit lots, including 14, 18, 53, and 60.
- Visitors are not permitted to park in areas marked Reserved, Faculty/Staff, or Housing.
- Each lot entrance will have posted signage indicating the allowed permits. All campus lots can be viewed on the campus map.
-
How does ADA/Disabled space parking work for UNF visitors?
UNF has many designated ADA parking spaces on campus. All campus visitors, including those parked in ADA spaces, will need a Daily Visitor Pass. Once the pass is obtained, please display the valid ADA hang tag from the rearview mirror of your vehicle to park in a disabled space. -
Can I purchase a daily visitor pass for motorcycle parking?
Campus guests on motorcycles may use AIMS Mobile Pay to obtain a daily visitor pass. Please park in designated motorcycle spaces on campus only. -
Can visitors use the Osprey Shuttle Service?
Yes, it is a complimentary service. Please refer to Shuttle and Parking Information for Guests.
