Research Centers and Institutes
The ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ supports several institutes, centers, and analytical facilities that support research activities of faculty, staff, and students, often in partnership with other public and private universities, not-for-profit organizations, and governmental and industry partners.
Institutes and centers are defined in the Florida Board of Governors Regulation 10.015 as entities established at a university to support intra- and inter-institutional research, service, and/or educational activities. This regulation further mandates that each university in the State University System establish and enforce its own policy on institutes and centers.
